Easily one of the most technical hard dance DJ’s in the world and a member of the world famous Tidy Trax record label, Rodi Style has firmly established himself as an artist like no other. He is an award winning DJ (Hard Dance Awards 2008), a producer whose music is supported by all the biggest DJs including regular plays on BBC Radio1 and a label owner (Kung Fu Wax/Tech Fu Recordings) managing high quality hard dance music.
As one of the few forward thinking DJs in the Hard Dance industry pushing the boundaries of technical showmanship, Rodi Style's abilities to layer, blend, warp and scratch have propelled him onto the stages at Global Gathering, Creamfields, Coloursfest, Lovefest, Magna as well as the legendary Tidy Weekenders. In 2008 he was selected by Tidy to mix the award winning “Music For A Harder Generation” series album alongside Andy Whitby and has gone on to record further album's for Tidy such as their Tidy Music Library Series and Weekender Live albums. Recent accolades also include a guest mix and inteview in the world famous BBC Radio1 studios in London.
Together with hard dance colleague Ben Stevens, the two also perform together as "Chaos Theory". A joint live project involving the use of cutting edge technology to bring a unique experience like no other in the hard dance world.
Besides being an award winning DJ, Rodi Style is also a prolific producer & engineer within the hard dance scene. The music he has written and produced has appeared in M8 Magazine, DJMAG and Mixmag including “record of the month” and "album of the month" awards in Mixmag. Rodi Style’s music can be heard on the playlists of every major Hard Dance DJ in the world including; Kutski, Lisa Lashes, Tidy Boys, Yoji, Anne Savage, Scot Project, A.S.Y.S., Amber D, BK, Organ Donors and his music has also been aired on many occasions on BBC Radio1, RTE Pulse and Kiss FM. Although his music fuses different aspects and influences from other genres of music, his style retains it's hard edge appeal and intricate attention to detail found only in top tier productions.
Committed to bringing high quality hard dance music to the world, Rodi Style also runs two labels “Kung Fu Wax” and “Tech Fu Recordings” alongside Canadian artist DJ Audy. Having garnished massive support including 17 compilation licenses and continuous support on BBC Radio1, both labels continue their progression with bright futures. |
